DDVerify Authorization System

Secure digital signing and authorization for payroll funding accounts

What is DDVerify?

DDVerify is our secure electronic authorization system that allows clients to digitally sign and authorize bank accounts for payroll funding. This eliminates the need for paper-based authorization forms and speeds up the onboarding process.

Important

All bank accounts used for payroll funding must be authorized through DDVerify before processing can begin.

For Processors

As a payroll processor, you will need to guide your clients through the DDVerify authorization process:

Step 1: Obtain Client Account Number

Action: Once your client is set up in the system, you will receive their unique NPC account number from Herring Bank.

Step 2: Send Authorization Link

Action: Email your client with:

  • Their NPC account number
  • Link to the authorization portal
  • Instructions for completing the authorization

Step 3: Client Completes Authorization

Action: Your client will:

  • Access the DDVerify portal using their NPC account number
  • Complete authorization for each bank account used for payroll funding
  • Enter complete bank account information
  • Digitally sign the authorization form

For Clients

If your payroll processor has directed you to authorize your bank account:

  1. Contact your payroll processor to obtain your NPC account number
  2. Navigate to the authorization portal provided by your processor
  3. Enter your NPC account number to access the authorization form
  4. Complete all required bank account information
  5. Review and digitally sign the authorization

TIN Verification

You may be required to upload documentation for TIN verification, such as a signed 941 or 940 form, or an EFTPS system screenshot showing your legal business name and full FEIN/TIN.
